Maintenance Tips
-
Clean filters regularly: Remove and wash or vacuum indoor air filters every 2–4 weeks to maintain airflow and indoor air quality.
-
Wipe exterior: Gently wipe the front panel and louvers with a soft, dry cloth to reduce dust buildup.
-
Check condensate drain: Ensure the condensate line and pan are clear so water drains properly and prevents leaks or mold.
-
Keep airflow unobstructed: Do not block the airflow path with furniture or curtains to maintain efficient performance.
-
Avoid harsh cleaners: Do not use abrasive tools or strong chemicals on the unit’s interior parts or coils.
-
Inspect coils occasionally: If accessible, lightly dust the coils; if very dirty, have a technician clean them.
-
Annual professional service: Schedule yearly HVAC maintenance to check electrical connections, blower components, and overall system health.
