Sanitize: Use a food‑safe sanitizer after heavy use to maintain hygiene and meet health standards.
-
Clean with the grain: Wipe stainless surfaces following the grain using soft cloths to protect the finish and reduce streaks.
-
Avoid abrasive tools: Do not use steel wool, wire brushes, or harsh chemicals (like bleach) that can scratch or corrode stainless steel.
-
Maintain drains: Empty and clean strainers daily; flush drains with hot water to prevent clogs and odors.
-
Inspect fittings: Regularly check faucets, seals, and connections; tighten or replace worn parts to prevent leaks.
-
Quick spill response: Wipe up standing water and spills immediately, especially on the drainboard, to reduce corrosion risk.
